The
farm animals were not forgotten. Here we see three of our younger
volunteers calming a frantic cockerel down after being excited
by all the strange visitors to the farm that day! |

The
chicken is called Macey (even though its a boy!). He was once
a personal pet, then was donated to the farm. You could say
he has a very individual personality. He will soon let you
know if he likes you or not! Despite this, he does prefer
the company of humans rather than that of the other hens on
the farm.
